Anyone with the SCT X-calibrator had problems with their car not taking the tune/not uploading factory tune. I attempted to load a tune upon reciept of the X-calibrator and have not been able to complete this even once. Much to my surprise each time that I have tried to "flash" the PCM I get the error code (18) shown by a single flash of the four led lights followed by eight flashes. This translates into what the instructions describe as an "unlock failure." Your help would be appreciated. The original retailer of this product for me is working with me well but it is the weekend and Modular Depot/SCT are not available until Monday.

Mine did that, too. I unhooked the battery for a few minutes, then tried to reflash. Took with no issues. B)

So, unhook the battery for 5 minutes, hook it back up, and then plug in the flasher? I'm getting mine in this week.
