But, I did throw another little delay in there myself today. I've been looking all over for a Moroso aluminum oil pan, and they've been out of stock and backordered for over a month. Well, I finally found one today and I'm having it shipped to Adam via 2-day air. He'll get it Friday... which means the engine won't go back into the car any earlier than Saturday at best. I hate to add any more delays, but it makes more sense to put the pan on with the motor out of the car, than to try and do it later.

I talked to Adam tonight and the long block is basically built, minus the timing chain and cover, and oil pump and pan. He will send me some pics when he get a chance to get on a computer (he was still at the shop at 9:30pm). He's got a few cars leaving the shop tomorrow, so he hopes to get my car on rack by the afternoon, to start on the rear end work. It's starting to look like I might get to drive it next week sometime!!

 

Updates? Or are you busy driving the car?

 

Nothing new to report yet... I'm still cautiously optimistic that I'll be driving it this week.
