He used to work for ford and he noticed anyone needing a replacement SC for their Saleen the order went to Whipple not Saleen and even now I talked to a friend that works at a Saleen dealership and he says the SC is a whipple on the S197 SC Saleens...and my friend Tom (3 cobras) has two 2.4L KB and the older model Whipple...just curious how much HP will the new whipple make with the I/C kit at 10psi

Supposedly 475hp but we all know what they advertise and what we get are usually two different stories.

HAHA! I have that video sitting in the center of my desktop and play it every day LOL! It came from Lethal Performance where I ordered mine:
http://www.lethalperformance.com/
Talk to Jared if interested. Go to Whipples site to get a better description of the kit. because it comes with a Ford Racing tuner and a GT500 fuel pump.
Sooo what part of the vid made you change your mind?

Don, how much quieter did it get? I am thinking about doing the opposite swap, since I want louder and my Magnaflows are quiet.

I'd estimate that it's at least 1/3 quieter at part throttle (which is where my biggest concern was... i.e., normal everyday driving). But keep in mind what the rest of my exhaust system is... individual results may vary. lol

Thanks for your input. I have an OR X and Magnaflows, but the OEM manifolds. I want a bit more sound, but LT's are planned so this setup might be ideal.

If it were me, I'd look for a used set of [insert name here] to test with your current set-up... but hang onto the Magnaflows. Once you get the longtubes, you may want the Magnaflows back on. If not, you could always sell them then.
