What's with the Hurst website?

Here are some pics of my car with the taller handle...hope this helps. The taller handle is very user friendly , much easier to shift( more leverage)
, 3" throw vs 2" with Hurst, and 4" with stock...also easier to manuever your coffee cup, LOL!
It is 2" higher, and back 1" closer to the driver. I think it looks much more retro than stock Hurst handle, and that is the theme of my car so I love it!
Now if only my Silverhorse flush mounted killer quarter window louvers would get here...CANT WAIT.

On another thread someone posted a pic of two tall handles, one was tall and bent rearward slightly and the other was tall, bent rearward and towards the drivers side slightly as well.
Which one do you have?

Some people like small, very low shifters but not me!
I recently saw the FR500 race car at the auto show and it reminded me that race car's shifter handles are usually tall and close the drivers hands which should be on the wheel.
I'm trying to decide between a Hurst shifter and Exhaust for my first real mod. I'll keep you in mind either way.

There's a couple sites running around with Hurst and B&M products on their pages that haven't been released yet. I know it's wishful thinking, but I hope no one's throwing money at those, getting suckered in. Who knows how long the legal games will go on. (My prediction is 2012, but I've been known to be off by a day or two...)
