. it says ADHESIVE HEAT SHIELD $40. DOESNT LOOK SO GREAT BUT WOULD IT REALLY WORK. MY CAI IS A JLT KIT.

go to steeda site and GO TO MUSTANG and look under "COOLING" section.

looks like aluminum foil with double stick tape. I would think any value it might have in cooling would be far out weighed by how awful it makes your engine bay look. Probably more benefit to a race car than a normal street car. Just throw a bottle of Redline Water Wetter in your radiator if you want to run a few degrees cooler

I'm sure it works, but it looks terrible. As stated above I'd only get it if you're a hard core racer and are looking for EVERY single 1/10th of hp you can get.

One problem is, since it insulates, it will also keep heat IN. Anything you cover up with it will take longer to cool down.
