world of wheels is this weekend (@ the qwest center/omaha)

two week ago the track management asked if i would be willing to put my car in the mid-america motorplex booth at the car show.

needless to say i was excited!!!

then today i found out that they wanted my race car not my new 06 gt ...........

i was crushed [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif[/img]

something about needing a crowd at the booth all weekend.(two years ago i had the roadster in the booth, and although i won a" best of class" comp pre 1929) i really wanted to put the 06 in the show!!!

i told them that a new gt would do just that.

i argued my point and lost [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif[/img]

so ..... tonight, i spent 4 hours dusting off the roadster and i'll haul it down to the show tomorrow.
(it raining here) so it will be a mess when i get there anyhow [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif[/img]


wish me luck!!

i want the best engineered trophy, again (and the $500 that goes with it)

i'll use the $500 on a cai and tuner from doug!!!!

What is World of Wheels??? I just might have to take a trip to see the family, and stop at the Qwest center.

world of wheels is a huge custom car show.

if you road trip it , look me up, i'll be at the mid-america motorplex booth all weekend
