Nice! I just picked up a used Vortech kit ($2000, couldn't pass up the price) and I wish I was back at Purdue so Brenspeed could install it. Maybe it's time for a homecoming visit.
Tom, sorry for the newb question... why'd you go back to the factory pulleys? Is that required?

If you leave the underdrive pullies on, you'll be underdriving the blower just like you're underdriving the accessories- you can underdrive the accessories for more power but if you underdrive the blower, it won't create as much boost (= less power).
Anyother questions, just ask.

OK, finally got the car back...... it's awesome! Brenspeed installed and tuned a non-cooled Vortech kit, containing a polished V2 blower and needed accessories. The car drives like stock until you floor it...... then it really starts to move and once you hit 3500rpm it just screams!
Final dyno numbers are 439/383 with air/fuel never going above 11.8 and timing in the mid-teens. I can not believe the throttle response that Brent's tune gives with this kit- you had better hold on tight and more importantly, you had better shift gears quick (I have 4.10's) or else you'll be in the red in about a nano-second!!

Hey Tom,
Got a question about something I see under your hood. On the passenger side shock tower right behind the power distribution box you have an item with a heavy red and black wire. Is that stock? My 05 does not have that item. Looks kinda like a heavy relay or fuse thingy.
