The "third one" is an idler pully...... replaces the factory unit. It claims to have less drag, but the power gains will come mostly from the crank and water pump pullies.

For the price, getting all 3 units is what I'm looking at too. The crank is SFI approved like the Steeda and Saleen units, but the outlet's prices can't be beat.

So if you wanted to, you don't even have to change the idler pulley right?

thakns for the info, yeah those packages they have are pretty decent deals, i'm going with the second to last one for 750.00. I wish they were steeda pullies but i'm sure there fine.

Yeah that would be a lot of money if it was JUST pulleys.

I don't know if the diameters are the same as the Steeda (2 pulley ) kit, but if they aren't, then that idler might also help keep the stock belt length. If it's the same diameter as the stock idler, then it could just be they feel they have better bearings than the stock Ford part. If you want to use just the water and crank pullies from that kit, make sure to check that idler diameter, otherwise you might get it all back together and have a belt that doesn't quite fit.

Good luck though, and enjoy. I like the difference my Steeda kit made.
