First of all, I want to thank Doug at BamaChips for his extra efforts following the Katrina disaster. I know he had to put his business on hold for more important things, but in the midst of all that, he still managed to take care of his customers. Way to go, Doug!! He is back home now, and even called me today to see how everything was going with the X2 and his tunes. I appreciate that level of customer care!!

I was in Las Vegas until late last Thurday night, so I wasn't able to pick up my tuner at the Post Office until Saturday. I installed Doug's "torque management" tune first (there is also a "Performance" tune I haven't even tried yet). This tune is impressive!! It makes my car do stuff that that it never did before. For example, even with the automatic, I can just punch the pedal from a dead stop and it will light up the tires soooooo easy... many times all the way into 3rd gear. And on a WOT run, it will loudly chirp the shifts into 2nd and 3rd. And all this with my fat/tall 275/50 Nittos. Plus, the throttle lag is gone... period. Unfortunately, I can't get it on a track until Sept 30 to find out the important numbers though. I plan on testing both tunes to see what the results are.

Again... thanks, Doug.

Welcome to the club Don. I know exactly what you mean about Doug's tunes and his customer service.

As I've said many times on this forum, in my opinion, I don't think Doug's tunes and customer service can be beat, bar none !!!!! I've never received customer service from anyone or for anything like Doug provided for me and I can't stop smiling everytime I drive my car because of Doug's tunes.

If anyone is thinking about purchasing a SCT2 Tuning Device, needs SCT Tunes or a C&L CAI, trust me, you don't need to look any further than Doug at BamaChips

When he called me yesterday, he was back home. So I assume he is up and running again. Give him a jingle.
