Helped tune a friends 02gt today
Doug904 ( http://www.bamachips.com ) and myself dyno tuned a friends car today. Its a 2002 GT with 4.10's, MAC prochamber, Flowmasters, Steeda U/D Pullies, K&N FIPK kit and that is it.
We were hoping for 250rwhp total. Instead, we got 251rwhp on the stock baseline pull. Doug then burned a chip and only pulled 256rwhp out of the car. The beauty of this is the gains not just at peak. At one point he gained 18rwhp over hte stock tune and over 30rwtq! across the power curve. Forget peak numbers, staying in the power is more important to me than hitting it once for a breif second. SCT software rocks!!!! (same tuning software Doug904 used on my car).
Here is the graph of the base line (red) and the SCT tune (blue). Cool thing was, this graph was the first pull they made with the SCT tune. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

LOL, yeah sounds good. shame you are all the way in bama. going to start the mods on the wifes car here soon. just a quick question though. did the 410's make the car over rev?

So now the car has been dyno'd again. The additions to it were a C&L intake, accufab TB and a new motor. The motor is stock (remanufactured from ford, which is bored .020 over). Dont ask why the new motor, very long story. here is the graph, it pulls pretty strong now
hehe I wouldnt mind it, but umm work and stuff here keeps me local all the time. Talk to Doug, he can do mail order tunes as well
I dont do the tuning. I help out some though. Doug904 on this board did the actual tune, but I dabble a lil bit with it.
