I don't know of any solutions as of yet but I can confirm that I have the same problem.

My spare tire board isn't even flat. Apparently when the spare was 1st put in my car it was cranked way too tight and bent the bracket on the floor of the trunk. I'm still looking for an easy way to cut the unused part of the "bolt" hanger thing without damaging the threads... with the tools I have available.
I tighten the jack into the spare, with a rag to sound deaden where they contact. The jack just hangs onto the spare, not attatched to the car at all. Remove the spare and remove the jack from the spare. No rattle from this set up.

Have rad (on the Steeda site) that some times, when replacing OEM springs, the aftermarket springs don't sit properly against a 'cap' at the top. (and of course Steeda has the goods to fis this!) The cap cracks and the new springs make noise. Have no idea if this true or not or just some marketing crap from Steeda.
