Hey guys,

I need to clear a small misconseption up about traction controll and settings with the SCT tuners.

The only thing we can do to the traction controll setting is either leave them alone or turn it off completely.

We cannot change the settings to where it is off but you can turn it back on when you choose with the button. There isn't a default change setting in the SCT software, just an on/off setting.

I've been getting a few emails about doing this so I just wanted to make it public the way this adjustment is made and what is possible with it.

Also, traction controll on/off isn't a user adjustable option on the X-2.

Thanks, Doug.

Doug,
You say traction control on/off isn't a user adjustable option on the X2 but their advertisement and the paper work that came with mine say it is. Or am I confused? What gives?

I was wondering the same thing.

BTW, I'd be happy to be completely rid of my traction control. I don't drive mine in snow or ice, and besides, I drove an 86 GT with bald tires through winter and never had a problem. Traction control sucks, IMO!

Doug, I know you don't work for SCT... However, is this something that could be in a future release from SCT? Do you know?
