TPS Issue?

Total Newb here.. I have an issue that I think may be my TPS but I'm not sure if this is where to ask, so i guess i will.

I have a 2005 Mustang GT

My idle speed is all over the place, downshifting after depressing the clutch my RPM's climb. At idle with the clutch depressed my rpm's climb then dive.. After about 10 minutes of driving the car goes into failsafe mode and I get the check engine light.

I am running the 62mm BBK throttle body the BBK CAI. I have cleaned the throttle body until it shines...... I am not running a custom tune.

Do you think it's my TPS? If I change my TPS sensor should I also change the TPS motor?

Once again nice to be with like minded nuts... Thanks for any and all info.

It's probably your tune, the BBK is larger than stock and should require a tune.

Check your TPS voltage, probably needs to be adjusted.
