btw, I have remove a T/C from a tranny before (C4), but it doesnt hurt to see the specs and stuff on it...

The Torque Converter really isnt inside the transmission. It sits outside and makes contact with the input shaft within the bellhousing, just like a manual's clutch.

technicality...you have to dropp the tranny(and the bellhousing) to get at the converter...same difference..
