Those with LT's Headers
Do we need to wrap or protect our starter from the heat of the headers?
I was just wondering and wanted to see what you all have found out.

Oh... on an interesting side note, check this thread out. Even though this happened with shorties, it's the first I've heard of any "melt down" due to headers.

Yea, I saw the same thing. But the shorties he showed sit actually above the outlets from the heads, so they are closer to the battery box. Maybe some reflective tape on the bottom of the battery box?

Heres another question about long tubes. I few weeks ago i had the oputunity to drive one for a weekend with kooks lt and noticed that the center console was getting hot and radiating inside the car. Has anybody
