I had both the Procharger and now the Whipple on my car and they both make serious power, but the Whipple (or any positive displacement blower) will always be pumping extra power and torque down even at normal driving conditions. My Procharger was cool too, but I would draw more attention with it when using boost because of taching up to get in the torque peak.

With that Saleen system, you'll come out of a curve in the road without downshifting at all and the car will just pull hard at low R's like you wouldn't believe. GO FOR IT!
That is making my decision a lot easier, thanks for the vivid example

Another thing to consider is this car is not going to see the track and driven occasionally with street tires. I don't know what gears you have now, but 3.55 or 3.73 would be plenty of gear for a street driven Saleen blown 3 valve. If you had 4.10's with that blower and the weather was in the 40's you will spin the tires just shifting into 3rd easy with cold street tires. When I first put the Whipple system on I had the car out on a rural road by my house cruising at 75 mph. I downshifted aggressively into 4th at 75 mph and the tires broke loose big time at about 45 degrees temperature. Needless to say I had to step down from the 4.10's to 3.73's.

Get a supercharger with a nice conservative tune, so you don't aggravate the motor etc. I had a Procharger with 4:10s on this car before going turbo, building up the car, and as my accountant keeps reminding me...behaving fiscally irresponsibly. Nice combo for pull but 1st gear was reduced to nothing, so a bit of a PITA.
