Strut tower brace that will fit?

Hello

I have a Roush supercharger on my 4.6L 2007 GT and was hoping someone could direct me to a strut tower brace that would fit around/over my charger?

American Muscle suggested a GT500 strut tower brace. Is that my best option?

Thank you for your time

You also have an option from Steeda:

Steeda Mustang Billet Strut Tower Brace - 05-10 Roush Supercharger.

We are currently running a sale ... save 20% off all Steeda manufactured parts.

Thanks TJ. Before I posted this on here I emailed in my inquiry. I got a reply asking if I had the stock hood on my car. Would this be a concern?

My apologies ... yes, I should have asked that prior to positing. I assume you have the stock hood?

Yes, an aftermarket hood is recommended with the SC & the strut tower brace for clearance issues.

Let me know if you have stock vs. aftermarket.

Best Regards,

TJ

I'm not the original owner and I'm not certain if it is the stock hood. can you tell by this picture?

Hey,

Looking at the picture you posted, that does in fact appear to be the stock hood. It is going to be fairly close with any standard GT or GT500 strut tower brace.

I have seen our SR brace clear a Kenne Bell and would imagine your blower would fit as well. It may need a couple of washers to get the proper clearance, but I tend to think it is going to work. I had this same SR brace on my 06 with a high rise manifold and it cleared with room to spare. Every engine is going to sit a little differently, however worse case scenario is that you try it out it doesn't clear and we take a return.

I hope this information helps, and if you have any questions, feel free to get back in touch. Best of luck!

Thanks Dan. I have some noisy injectors right now that I think will be addressed before a brace, but I will definitely give it a try soon.

I used the bullit stb. You would have to to notch the three points on the stb were it would make contact with the roush supercharger. You should not have any problem with hood clearance.

Alright. That sounds great. Definitely let me know if we can be of any assistance! We'd be glad to help.

What injectors are you running now?
