I'm thinking maybe you just got a little bit deaf after a couple of weeks.

Can anyone help me? As I have posted I do NOT like the off road Mac Prochamber with the Borla Stingers. It is WAY to much for me. I am thinking about trying the stock muffs back on the weekend and evenually getting a set of Ford Racing Supreme Axle Backs (M-5230-GTA) to try with the off road set up. I know last nite I found a vid that showed a before and after vid with sound of the stock muffs and than the supremes. I have searched high and low and can't find that vid again.
HELP!!!!

I have the stock cats laying on the garage floor. High flows won't make much difference. I really was surprised how much difference removing the stock cats made in the loudness of the car. I have had the Borla Stingers with the stock cats for a year now and although they have a great sound to them 90% of the time I really hate the drone factor around 2000 rpm. This is why I tried the Mac Prochamber because I read where it reduced the drone. And I agree that it did. But adding the offroad legs just made it annoying. So I have never seen anyone go with offroad pipes and stock mufflers of the Ford Racing Supreme GTA's. It might just be a new chapter in this best muffler.. H-pipe or X -pipe, or cat or no cat debate. I am going to find out for myself.

Scott,
Is there room to weld a set or resonators behind the prochamber? If so, I would try that.

When I took my cats off (Pypes H) my drone went way down, but it was just too loud for where I live now. Adding the resonators to the over-axle toned it down just enough. It is still loud and deep, but the drone and trumpets are gone.

I know it has been brought up before, but I am very happy with my current setup.

Theirs a soundclip on youtube of the stingers with o/r h. It made it sound a little more mellow, as i think it would for the prochamber.

I have read about adding the resonators in other thread and have done some searching on the topic. However, I could never find any threads with vids to show the before and after results. If you have any I would be interested in seeing them. As far as room for the resonators, I think they could be added behind the prochamber in the over the axle pipes before you get to the rear end.
