I shouldnt be helping you but=First, If you are driving thru the water box you are driving to the line with wet front tires.Dont Drive thru the water.Go around and back into with just rears. Why the hell would you run 20psi in all four wheels. Is your car all wheel drive? You should run 50psi in the front and 25 in the rear with stock tires.Drag radials between 12 and 15.Launch car between 2000 and 2500 and you should be shifting at 6200RPM.Install a ratchet strap arround drivers motor mount and Kframe.Tighten till motor pulls down a little. You wont have shifter problems anymore.

well i havent been going through the water period. in fact i was barely doing a burnout at all. last week i started doing the burnouts and it helped my 60' times from averaging a 2.1-2.2 to a solid 2.0 consistently and i got a 13.6 in the 1/4. i was told that with street tires we cant use the water box period. it was only for slicks and drag tires

like mikem said make sure your front tires have lots of air for less rolling resistance. When pumped up like that less rubber meets the road causing less friction. Rear tires @ 25 psi. launch @ 2000. If the car still bogs raise the RPM's just a bit. I have bested a 13.4 @ 106 w/ a 2.0 60' time on street tires. But my 20's arent very forgiving with the low profile tires. There is no sidewall flex for a good launch. and Practice makes perfect!!!!!
