i still cant hook up that well. im going sideways when i launch. i think this is killing my quarter mile times as i cant break a 13.8 with the mods i have below. i see others with less mods running 13.5 or 13.2 and such. What can i do to get traction. Will the LCA's solve this?

what rpm's are you launching at? I launch around 2000-2500 and have similar mods to you and run a 13.2 (as you mentioned). Just try and adjust your launching technique. Feather the clutch a bit and this should help you. Did you lower the pressure in your rear tires?

I am trying to launch at 2000rpms. i tried about 20psi in all 4 tires for one run and got even worse times than the 30psi or so i had in them before.

You're definately going to benefit by replacing your control arms. I would recommend doing the upper and lowers at the same time and you shouldn't have a problem hooking anymore. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

94 try keeping your rear tires 20-15 psi, fill the fronts to 40 psi. Also has all of your 60 ft times been consistent. The hydraulic clutch on these can be a little goofy. You may want to also try a UCA with the LCAs. If you drive mostly on the road, get the poly ends(they are less noisy). Hope this helps.

Dont flame me here but I believe you need more practice driving and launching the car with that box.

learning to drive is the best thing you can do for a car... i have alot of suspension goodies and i "can" still have traction problems if i want its all a matter of learning to drive your car as best as possible while still getting traction

I have BMR loweres and am happy with them. There is just too much noise with the upper arm and it is a pain to install so I did not. Purchase the non adjustable lowers with POLY bushings. If you plan to lower car too save on shipping and purchase panhard at the same time.

I did a 1.948 and 1.951 60ft last week at irwindale 1000 rpms flooring it after it took off ,street tires and gears, start like your street racing from light and don`t want get the cops attenion spinning tires it works great . How many times have seen dragracer run four seconds in rail smoking tires.

Hey Dennis, are you still having trouble with this?

"I got a sctx2 tune installed at racer edge downey cal went to irwindale drag strip .best time stock 9.215 ran five times everytime i ran the car had so much torque 312tq it would spin the tires everytime i try to shift to 3rd it was like hitting brick wall it would not go in what ever i tryed Do i need a shifer kit i aleady have saleen short shifter"

This is from your "help can`t hit third gear, A brick wall" thread, just wondering if you are still hitting a brick wall, or if you are having so much torque, or if you learned how to drive AND WRITE yet...
