Mot250,

Thanks for your intputs, any comments on adding the sways and any increase in jolt or NVH over the upgraded springs that you can tell?

I'm considering adding either a thinner aftermarket rear sway bar and leaving the front stock - this should produce neutral handling, or going with your setup - again producing near neutral handling, but with more flattening and as you said, a little more step out in the rain.

Thanks again.

rnail,
I'm still on stock springs and shocks/struts. I did not notice an more NVH nor any real increase in rough-road-jolt after the swaybar installation. I did drive my car for a few days with the bigger rear bar and the stock front bar and that seemed even more apt for the rear to come around even on dry roads. Adding the bigger front evened the car out more in turns while making the turns more flat.

I did the installation on jack stands in my garage so that part is easy. The only thing is that the front bar fasteners should not be tightened down until the car is level on all fours. This part is easiest done on a drive on lift (which I had access to) but it could be done with the front on ramps and the rear on jack stands so that the stands are under the axle to load the rear suspension as well. Oh, and don't forget the lock-tite!

Brian,

Do you know what yours measures front/rear to the middle of the wheel wells?

What's made me hesitant on the FRPP springs is most pics of the Shelby GT and GT-H's they look like they still have a rake to them.

How much variance is there between cars coming off the assembly line? The reason I ask is that my suspension is all stock and I'm at 28" (just a hair under actually - like 27 and 7/8") in the front and 29 1/4" in the rear. That puts my stock front same or lower than your Sports!

This is why I am so undecided on which lowering springs to go with. I just want to level the car out. I'd like somewhere around 27" - 28" all around.

And this is why I didn't think the FRPP springs leveled the car:

if you want level cut one coil off your rear springs. That will drop the rear one inch. Step two don't look back.
