STEEDA GUS, other Steeda Customers, PLEASE HELP!!

I have an 08' GT - Steeda CAI, Intake Spacer, Steeda MBRP Axle back exhaust. Just added Steeda CDMP, Steeda UD Pulleys, FR 3.73 Gear, FR X-pipe, 87 octane tune ( using 93 octane gas ) over holidays by Steeda authorized dealer.

What I have noticed is with addition of these mods the acceleration is now smooth and steady. However there is much less low end torque! Prior to latest additions, car really took off at 3k rpm. Now 1st and 2nd gear very mild, even sluggish - car really takes off in 3rd / 4th at over 4k on tach. I got better low end torque before the addition of the latest parts which is exactly the opposite of what I was expecting and lead to believe would be the result of these mods.

Can you help ? Recommendations ?

I will be calling to discuss with Don, but wanted your thoughts and any others with these mods.

Delete plates for sure. Most mods that will gain you power up top sacrifice power down low.

The pullies will add some power through out the rpm range. The delete plates on the other hand will give up a little torque below 3K but will add 8-10 hp and torque at the top end. This is normal and has been well documented over the years. Suggestion...add an aluminum driveshaft now and it will give you an added boost at all rpm ranges. You can feel this mod from day one!!

Who the heck runs an 87 tune and puts 93 gas in it? That extra octane does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for you. Load the **** 93 tune and you're not going to have anything to complain about.

My dyno runs with a very similar setup showed NO loss in low end torque with the addition of the delete plates. I'd say get a dyno and check it out.

Agree with Dustin on not running a 93 tune.

Also not sure what an intake spacer does.

Intake spacers are completely WORTHLESS. I can't believe I was tricked into buying one, but hey in April '05 there weren't many mods out there. My spacer is in my junk drawer.

+1 on the 92/93 tune being part of the issue here. 87 octane gas is not good.

My car is a dog with 87tune and 87 gas, when costs for gas are soo high i need to save every penny i can I'll use it but thats about to change with my latest mods.

If you are the guy that called and spoke to Don yesterday. 87 octane is your problem. Spark timing totally changes with charge motion plates. You want low end torque with the plates we will need timing to do that. Timing will require higher octane.

Put some 93 octane gas in there. When you have get back to Don with your strategy code and I'll make tune for you.

***edit*** I see you should already have 93 octane, just get us your strategy code....
