Spydershaft vibration fixed - finally!

I just had the #2 Spydershaft fixed. It had .075" runout at the transmission end. It has been rebalanced as well.
I have sold my Spydershaft and replaced it with one from Dennis Reinhart at Reinhart Automotive. It is made by Dynotech. I had one in my '97 T-bird that had an Eaton M90S and modded auto trans. It worked great, and so does this one.

same here, I have not noticed any vibration out of the norm at 135+ I'm sorry to hear about several people who have had trouble getting a good driveshaft :-( I don't think it is the usual experience though, most people I've talked with when I was deciding on a shaft had no vibrations after pinion adjustments.

My Spydershaft's been perfect on the strip and on the highway. More than 25k on it [80k on the car now].
Had my mechanic install it at the Ford dealership, had to give him a few extra bucks for the pinion flange work I neglected to tell him about [unintentionally!], but still, all done for less than $100.
Too bad for those who have to pay more for the same thing, but I'd buy one again in a second if I got another Mustang.

I've had a Spydershaft for a year or so and have always had a little NVH at 58-62 mph but then it goes away after that speed - had it up to 95-100 with no problems. Also have some clunking on occaision when shifting if the revs aren't up enough. I haven't checked it for runout but when I was changing my oil/filter I grabbed the shaft and tried to rotate it to see if it had any play. It did move a little - hard to say how much but I could move it.
I guess my question is "Should there be any play or should there be a solid feel with no rotation"? Anyone tried to rotate the shaft with the wheels on solid ground or on a lift?
