spanish oak?

Will our cars lose power over time with a tune? I have heard that the mustang has a spanish oak processor that readjusts?

I've always wondered if the computer would adjust an aftermarket tune after awhile. My guess is no. I think it will just throw a code and possibly go into limp mode if the code is severe enough.

I'm certainly no expert or a tuner, but from what I've read, the computer will adapt for part throttle conditions, but at WOT the tune is in control. If that's the case, then it sounds perfect to me. Let the car run efficient at low rpms and moderate throttle, but "hang on tight" when the loud pedal is mashed.
