Is this thing for real?
I was just surfing the net and found: http://sprintboostersales.com/sprint....cfm?make=Ford
Claims to be a module that will beat the Spanish Oak (or whatever the heck it is) tuning that keeps you from applying full power immediately. $300. Maybe the tuners like SCT are already doing this. Anybody know about it?

Well, googling about seems to indicate it in fact does trick out the throttle. However, reports are mixed... the throttle *response* was better in various people's reports, but whether that translated in to better times or such? I dunno... doesn't seem conclusive enough.
As an aside, I did it in about 6 seconds without anything. I turned the key on, depressed the accelerator pedal slowly, but NOT all the way down, for 6 seconds, then let up. Started the car... ****, but that throttle is way the hell responsive now. Makes a huge difference. I can really control the gas now. MUCH better than before I did that. I'd heard about the 6 second recalibration, but it never seemed to work right...
I'd thought that the low/high points were too far, or shifted, so the pedal at 'idle' setting, the car was bogging down trying to get down to 250 rpm or something... it was weird. I'd done the reset trick, all the way down, and still it would do that... I then came up with the "maybe not all the way?" idea, and Wow. The trick is to NOT reach the floor when recalibrating... at least, for me anyway. Try that first, you may like it.
/everyone's is different, this happened for me.
