Sorry but I have to do this....

I have searched and searched but I am still not finding the info I need. I just put an off-road X on now my car is *gasp* too loud. I want to put some tone back into it with some Stingers/FRPP equivelant(sp). Could someone please point me in the right direction for the cheapest place to pick some of these up. Plus if you have the correct part number for these it would help alot too. I called two different dealerships this morning and the M-5230-5GT is $2300! I guess it is exhaust for a Ford GT instead of a Mustang GT. Any help you can all give me would be greatly appreciated. Plus, when I get these put on, I will have some Loudmouths for sale...

Semper Fi,
Kris

I think this is what you want:
5% off with code TMS I believe.
Part # you have is correct, dealership is either confused, trying to rip you off, or maybe a little of both.

You might want to consider the GTAs also if your car is too loud. You can get those for around $270-280.

I guess that its not that it is too loud as it is too "raspy." The loud smacking sound is unbearable. I wouldnt mind it if it was the same volume but had a different note. I had the stingers on my 03 Cobra and if I could get that sound again I would be all over it!

Thanks again!!

I have the stingers with my hi-flow catted x-pipe and love them. It has a nice tone, and is pretty loud, but not too loud.

No exhaust is ever too loud. Even mine! The stingers are king!

I ended up putting the hi-flow cats on my basani x-pipe and flowmaster muffs to get teh sound I was looking for. OR xpipe too raspy (but plenty loud, too loud even with stock muffs), hi-flows with stock muffs wasn't loud enough, flowmasters hit the sweet spot.
Good luck.

+1 I love my hiflo x and stingers

I would even think about getting a set of hiflows welded into my X and just leave the SLP LMs on.
