improving 60' times??

How can i get my 60' time down? Even though im happy with my 1/4 time with my mods (C&L Racer, 93 race tune, nitto 555s), im sure i can still do better by lowering the 60' time.

60' 2.157
1/8 8.777
1/4 13.468
MPH 104.33

How many times have you been to the track, and which ones? It's all about the seat time/ experience. Once you start going to the tracks in your area you'll know which ones are prepared the best. With Nitto 555's the burnout is gonna be the key to everything. Get them real hot and remember what rpm you're launching at, then adjust accordingly. A lot of us only go to the track once or twice a year for fun, so we're not gonna pull any record setting 60 ft times without the practice. Launching at the track is harder than people think becasue there's so many variables, weather, tires, track prep/stickiness......Keep at it.

The 555s won't get you anywhere, they suck at the track. Gears with your current set-up is only going to make matters worse. As mentioned, you need tires and suspension. Once you have those, then go with gears. Torque on the rear end means nothing if you can't plant it.

anti wheel hop kit will help with this and steeda and BMR both make these kits CR (tillmanspeed) can help you out with either kit. You should launch a little better.
