I looked into it today. I'm good friends with my local Ford parts manager and he told me they aren't supposed to sell GT500 parts (or, at least order them) without a valid GT500 VIN. He was going to see what he could do (they sold at least 1 GT500 I know of) and get back to me. I believe the GT500 TB comes preassembled with the motor included. All you need to do is swap over the TPS. Also - my cost (10% markup) is $122!!!
ask your dealer to order it as a replacement for a v10 excursion. same peice. same pre-assembled with sensor and motor, good to go.
i was thinking of getting one, but decided i am giong to work on getting a new peice of two wheeled fun before jumping into the mustang again.

Just call JDM and as for the GT500 TB kit....its 399 not....i got it from a forum member and have had no problems at all...I am also still N/A. The kit works on the stock manifold but it does have some small rubbing problems.
