should i switch to an H pipe?
i have heard a couple mustangs that have H pipes, and they have a much deeper beefier sound. i really like it! currently i am running a bassani x pipe with highflow compcats, and flowmaster axle backs. i am going to be upgrading to longtubes, and keeping the flowmasters. i was going to go with a highflow catted x pipe, but now i am thinking of doing a highflow catted h pipe with the headers. what does everyone think about this setup? anyone running it? i do not mind the drone from the setup i have, but i dont want to slap the h pipe in and have it drone really really badly. some is fine. how would this setup sound? thanks for the help!

JBA makes them.

I have had both an H and an X with my LTs. I prefer the X... less trumpeting, and it sounds great.

I have JBA longtubes with JBA high flow catted H-pipe. JBA also makes an o/r H-pipe which Torrence is running.
Dan, if you liked the sound of my car or Torrence's you'd be very happy going with an H-pipe. Ron (94tbird) is running an off-road H pipe I believe with his FRPP exhaust and it sounds so mean and deep.

Put my vote in for H-pipe!
Love the sound of mine, although I'm thinking of welding some cats on 'cause I am in Cali
