I had FRPP shorties on my 07 GT at the time with a C&L CAI and Steeda UDP's.
They were ceramic coated and looked great, sounded great but made zero H.P. on a dyno.
Had Kooks LTs installed IMHO very high quality and a nice power increase.
Kooks, FRPP intake and throttle body, Hot Rod Cams were a 50 R.W. H.P increase over the previous set up. 70 H.P. increase over stock.
No clearance issues at all with the Kooks LT's and catted H Pipe.

Yep unfortunately shorties haven't provided any bang for the buck performance wise on any V8 offered in the Mustang since 1996 running an NA config. It's been documented, tested and proven time and time again
