Well you don't say what year car you have 3v or 4v, or what other mods you have but I will tell you that shorties are a waste of money. They really don't give you much for what they cost. LT's are the way to go if you want better HP but they really need additional mods to make them worth the cost.

Pacesetter LT's and mid-pipe are like only $500. Depending on where you live, this could be a good option. They do run a slightly larger primary which you may or may not like.

I will go one further. A waste of TIME and MONEY! If you are looking for more performance gains, go long tubes with high flow cats.
Good luck.

No doubt about it. Go with the Long tubes and high flow cats. Costs more now but you won't look back and regret it later.

Long tubes are they way to go for maximum horses. But before you drop the cash, realize the trade off that comes with them. You get upper RPM hp bump at the loss of a bit of low end torque. Some people don't notice the loss, most people don't care, just thought I would mention it before you spend that much money.
