Shortie headers.... Who has em

Like the idea of shorties instead of long tubes... Any of u have em?

From what I've read they're a waste. Gotta stay in the budget tho. And pass emissions tests if you're not in Florida lol

Yea me too. My only bone is that if I'm gonna finish my exhaust, which I intend to, I'm gonna go ***** out. Longtubes and no cats... Maybe exhaust dumps... Well see

It's my daily and after my full suspension I don't want Clarence issues... Plus I plan on road racing don't care to b a 11 sec car

I had FRPP shorties on my 07 GT at the time with a C&L CAI and Steeda UDP's.
They were ceramic coated and looked great, sounded great but made zero H.P. on a dyno.
Had Kooks LTs installed IMHO very high quality and a nice power increase.
Kooks, FRPP intake and throttle body, Hot Rod Cams were a 50 R.W. H.P increase over the previous set up. 70 H.P. increase over stock.
No clearance issues at all with the Kooks LT's and catted H Pipe.

Huh... Why can't stuff ever b cheap and simple.... Should have got a fox body :-(

Yep unfortunately shorties haven't provided any bang for the buck performance wise on any V8 offered in the Mustang since 1996 running an NA config. It's been documented, tested and proven time and time again
