Hello everyone!

I installed the C&L "Racer" intake last weekend and I must say it is a fantastic product. Two questions, how can I better secure the heat shield so it doesn't move at all and how can I be sure that there is a tight seal between the top of the heat shield and the underside of the hood?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Cheers,
Jon

I have the non-racer C&L and just doing what the instructions suggested with the screws and wire-ties works fine. I honestly don't think the top seal is anything to worry about.

Thanks very much Gunslinger. I thought the same about the top seal, I just wanted to hear it from someone else.

Cheers,
Jon
