I just got the sct x4 7015 and I have some questions what does kam reset mean and which preloaded tune do you guys recommend for my stock 06 gt with a auto thanks

 

Keep Alive Memory - basically the memory that stores learned information for the engine computer that gets erased when you disconnect the battery.

 

should I reset it before I load a tune

 

Generally, loading a tune does reset it anyway.

Unfortunately I don't. My SCT x4 came with my Procharger and only had one tune on it.

I have an SCT x4 preloaded with the SCT 87,91 and 93 octane tunes. I personally use the 93 most of the time, and use 94 octane usually. when i head out on a long trip i usually set it to use the 91 tune because i can't always find 94/93 octane gas easily.

 

I installed the preloaded 93 tune and wow what a difference but I still have a slight hesitation when I accelerate which was there when it was stock any ideas thanks

 

any thoughts why it hesitates when I first accelerate thanks
