SCT X4 throttle response problem - HELP!

Car: 2008 Mustang GT CS
CAI: Roush
Problem: Gas peddle too sensitive staring from idle.

I tried the 87 and 93 tunes on the X4, but the throttleresponse makes it unusable.
The car lurches too much during normal street driving whentaking off.
Idle is about 600 and jumps to 1500 with the slightest pressof the gas pedal.
The only smooth acceleration I can get is with stock tune.

I’m not liking the Roush setup or the X4 since there isn’t asetting for the CAI on the X4.

Help please!!!
Billy

Who did your tuning? You should get in touch with them to discuss the throttle mapping, and they can adjust your tune.

It was the tunes included on the SCT X4.
I contracted SCT and they were no help. Suggested I go get a custom tune.

I'm checking into a custom tune by 5 Star Tuning.
Hope it works.

That's the best course of action. I don't think throttle response is user-adjustable in any way. If the throttle response on a custom tune isn't to your liking, then whoever is doing the tuning can adjust it.

Thank you for the feedback. I feel better about getting a custom tune knowing that it is something easily adjustable.

I recommend getting your custom e-mail tunes from Steeda or AM/Bama, as both offer free custom tune upgrades for life

Great. I was just thinking the same thing about AM for life. I read some reviews and it seems like the way to go.

Going to place my order.
