Sallen S/C, boost sensor, and interceptor gauge help

OK, I am putting the final touches on my Saleen install and I need a little help, this is my first S/C install so don't flame me if this is a ridiculously stupid question I have an Aeroforce Interceptor scan gauge and I ordered the 2 bar sensor for the boost reading pic 1. I assume that you simply hook up a vacuum hose to the little nipple on the sensor. If this is correct then I need to know were to hook up the other end to the supercharger. I think it goes were I am showing on pic 2 and 3 and if thats the case can I just screw in a hose barb like in picture 4 or am I way off here? Thanks for any help or suggestions!

I have the Aeroforce guages but am not using them for boost.. however if indeed you are to connect a vacuum source to that 2 bar sensor, you can get it from the vacuum line that runs on top of the driver's side fuel rail that supplies the factory fuel regulator.

I know that the location on the Saleen blower (your picture #3) is where the factory Saleen electric boost gauge is hooked up to if you have an electric Saleen boost gauge- it may work for your application too.

JimIII told me that front port is for electric boost gauges, so you should be good to go with what you have. Tapping into the vac line on the drivers side is for mechanical gauges.

And congrats on the S/C!!!! I've been waiting for my garage to warm up a bit above the 30*s to install mine.

I just recently did EXACTLY what you are doing Robbie after my stock Saleen gauge went south on me.

I mounted the 2 bar to the firewall, ran my power around the passeneger side of the engine and tapped the throttle position sensor power line, and tapped into the vacuum line on the driver side - works like a charm.

I am uploading pics and want to put up a thread about my install

Great, I cant wait to see the pics, if I go into that port on the front will it still work the same or do I have to tee into the vacuum line?

Here's my thread, man

I would GUESS that going into that port using that hose end barb would work (I just left the stock Saleen boost assembly there).

It seems much easier and alot less hose to just T into the vacuum line on drivers side (if you mounted the 2 bar where I think you did) - a little extra vacuum line and a plastic T fitting and you are done.

anything else, lemme know
