Mine came FedEx too, and they still have it. It requires a signature, and I had it delivered home. No one there during the day. I called back, and they're supposed to be telling FedEx to remove the signature requirement, hopefully it'll be waiting for me when I get home tonight. So what's the total charge with shipping? $100? I think Saleen wento the Steeda school of shipping charges

Well, I installed mine over the weekend. This mod is sweet! The shift is MUCH shorter, and feels like it should.
I used to have a Miata, and it also had a very short shift. Unfortunately, it lack the power of my GT.
As everyone else has already stated, this mod is worth every penny!

Saleen shipped no charge. Took about three weeks, but I'm not complaining.

I got mine installed Monday. Easy install, and definitely worth it. My instructions even made sense and were correct. I greased everything, and used loctite on the bolt. I think I need to loosen the nut just a hair, but while I'm down there I think I'll put some loctite on that, too. Forgot to do it the first time. I definitely like the much shorter throw, and for some reason, it feels much firmer now, too. I can't imagine how solid it would feel if I upgraded to urethane bushings. I don't think it needs it.
I've got the MGW Gripper shift ****, and someone before mentioned raising that to decrease the force needed (maximize the leverage), but thinking about that the other day, that just kind of defeats the purpose. If you raise your **** height, you're lengthening the top half of the shift arm, and lengthening the throw again. Granted, that does allow you to fine-tune it, and you're not going to get back as much distance as you took away with the adapter on the bottom half of the shifter, but I want my shifts as short as possible. But, that's what mods are for, right? So we can each make our cars as much our own as possible?

It's much easier to make a quick shift into third with the short shifter. The 2-3 shift with the stock shifter was sort of a hit or miss IMO.

right on, BuzzyStang. I'm still waiting for the bushing... but I've a couple more weeks before the snow has melted.

Jayguy,
What kind of grease did you use?
