Saleen Install - remove hood?

I thought I remember seeing a thread saying it was not neccesary to remove the Hood for the Saleen chager install?

Has anyone installed the Saleen charger with the hood still on and was it just fine?

Only if you want more head and room clearance during the installation.

I didn't remove the hood when I installed mine.
That's one more thing to damage and have lying around.

+1 Just install mine last week. Hood was not an issue. Leave it on.
