Safe to drive?

I just finished installing my JBA long tube headers this weekend.

Currently I have a canned tune from Bamachips for my C&L intake and bassani x-pipe. Is it safe to do some basic driving until I get my new custom dyno tune from Livernois Motorsports next week?

Just curious how much affect the headers will have on the air/fuel ratio.

You will be fine. I know I have read all sorts of stories on how it will run lean with longtubes but I just added my longtubes in January and called Brenspeed about getting a updated tune because I was worried about the same thing. They told me I would be fine. I had a custom tune at Brenspeed on Feb. 15th and the A/F was dead on. Same as last Oct. at Brenspeeds dyno day before the longtubes. Now you might get a check engine if you don't have your rear 02 sensors turned off in your present tune. But even that won't hurt anything.

You might be fine. If "might" is good enough for you leave it. Personally I wouldn't do a mod like that without atleast checking the a/f after to 100% make sure it's a-ok.

You should be fine.....if you want to be extra safe, just stay away from WOT until the custom tune.

That's what I figured, just some basic driving around for short trips, but not pushing the limits and hitting WOT.

Livernois is booked for about a week and a half so I can't get in there right away for the updated tune.

That's for the feedback.
