Russell AN fuel line - firewall to fuel rails

After seeing the stainless set-up that RicksGT/CS installed, I contacted Russell and found the p/n's for building one with silver/black fittings and Black Pro-Classic hose.

Here's the p/n's I used:

Ford EFI fitting (black) fuel rail end - 640903
Quick disconnect female (black) firewall end - 640853
Silver/Black straight -6 AN fitting - 610023
Silver/Black 45 degree -6AN fitting - 610093
3ft Pro-Classic -6AN hose - 632053 (I only needed ~16 inches)

The swap was very easy, but the firewall fitting was a bit of a PITA trying to release (even with using the line release tool).

Comparison between the stocker and the new line

Doug, the Silver/Black fittings look really good. I also like your polished Moroso brake reservoir cover. Did you polish it or buy it that way?

I had all my Moroso tanks and covers chrome plated over the winter. I tried polishing them first, but it was a PITA trying to keep them looking good. Here's a thread with more pics

Well stated Rick... but I just wanted to do something different and will be slowing swapping out the other lines with Pro-Classic hose. Now I just wish someone would come out with aftermarket fuel rails that fit the E-force.

How did you use the 3/8" spring lock tool on the fuel line to get it off? Mine does not seem to want to get in the opening properly because there is a part of the frame in the way.

This is the spring lock set I have:

Is this the same thing to use on the bottom coupler. The fuel rail side was eay as there is nothing in the way, but that bottom one just doesn't want to budge.

I used the same tool. It took a lot of effort and messing around, but it finally released.
