I average 14.5 in the city and about 16 on the autobahns...Couldn't be happier with my Brenspeed 93 tune. Only time I'd run 87 is if I'm somewhere and can't find 93.

Fuel mileage is a concern to all.But having a performance car with a 300HP V-8 thats getting 20to25 mpg is a good thing. I bought my Mustang for a weekend cruizer.I hear the California prices are up $3.00 a gallon.

If we figured out what a gallon of pop or bottled water the price of a gallon gas really isn't that high.Only if they din't add so much tax to the fuel.

Hey, sorry if I offended anyone. Yes, I too feel that gas is rediculous but I am not going to let it keep me from running an awesome tune.

I don't really have an issue with paying .10 or 13 cents a gallon more than 87 octane, but my beef is that the oil companies are ripping us off. Why in California should I pay $3.39 a gallon for 91 octane? Exxon keeps reporting record profits and it ****es me off.

Rant off!

I agree with that 100%...How can they do that? I recognize that it is pretty much an elastic item being that no matter how high the price is we still have to have it, but shouldn't the government or someone step in for possible price gouging or something else of the sort?

You cant fight the system guys. If your goal is to attempt to in some way hurt the oil companies, ride a bicycle, buy a diesel and run cooking oil in it, distill your own ethanol, drive an electric car, etc.

Not when the government is being run by somebody who has interests in the oil companies. Oh well, I'm going to keep running my 92 tune and not think about the slight price difference.

Most 93 octane tunes generally don't do anything to the spark in the load/RPM region associated with normal city and highway cruising. A typical 93 octane tune has much more spark in the high RPM / high load area (when you go WOT) especially more in the 5000-6000+ RPM area. I've seen some 93 octane tunes for modular Fords where the spark is retarded in the low RPM/low load area.

Dude im telling you when i first start the car it sounds like a monster, As soon as i pull of it feels like i'm in a jet waiting to gun it. the difference betwween stock and a tune is night and day,the difference between 87 and 93 is also night and day. im usally tight on money(with 2 kids,07 f-150,house payment,07 ducati, and all my toys)so when i tuned it back to 87 i was happy because i thought i was saving myself money but i noticed a difference as soon as started up the car and drove for probably 50ft. I had to stop the car,run and get my tuner flash it and i was on my way thinking how else i can save money

Well I guess I'll be the first to say it.......

With having a nice GT, an '07 F150 and an '07 Ducati, maybe you shouldn't be *****in about money at all, especially the difference in cost between 87 & 93 octane.

I will def agree that fuel pricing in general is a complete rip-off, especially in comparison to other prices found in the world.

Sorry, it was a "female dog"..... my point was that its hard to imagine someone complaining about the difference in price between 87 & 93 octane when they have all the new toys that you have. No offense meant; I completely understand if you're referring to how we're being taken advantage of by the high gas prices, period.

We should all be glad that we can run pump gas at any cost.

Why you ask? Because it can be a huge pain the rear to convince your wife to let you keep a 55 gallon drum of 115 octane race gas in the garage. Thats why.
