Well on a hot June day last year running on the road course my temp guage was climbing to 3/4's. Where 1/2 is about normal.
Sounds like this stuff may actually help for this reason?
Car was so hot my chrome tailpipes got a permanent gold tint to them!

The less anti-freeze you have in your cooling system and the more water, the better it will cool down the engine. Contrary to what they say on the bottle, the green/yellow/orange stuff is NOT coolant. Water is the actual coolant. You don't want to run straight water because it doesn't have corrosion inhibitors, solutes to raise the BP and lower the FP, and lubricants for the shaft seals of the pump. Water wetter products like Water Wetter and Purple Ice reduce the surface tension of the water, raise the BP, lubricate shaft seals, and contain corrosion inhibitors. By reducing the surface tension of the water, the coolant can stick to the walls of the block and heads more readily.
If you're road racing your Stang in the middle of the summer, consider dropping all the coolant and refilling with 100% distilled w/ a water wetter product or something like 70% distilled / 30% anti-freeze just to prevent it from boiling off, but still have better heat transferring capacity than running 50/50 water and anti-freeze.
Recall that in a pressurized system, the boiling point of pure water will be higher than 212F.
