Well I was somewhat excited about the Roushcharger because I love the sound of eaton blowers. I understood that it might not be as efficient as the Saleen blower, but it would most likely be cheaper. I recently looked into because a post sparked my interest, their website says it's for manuals only. WTF :bang: Maybe it was adressing the dyno graph but honestly if they only make it compatible with manuals it once again proves their idiocy. We all know how reliable their website is, they once had posted that their stage 2 Roush would make 260 hp. Do they understand marketing at all?
Oops can this get moved to GT performance?

It's Only for Manuals because of Automatic reliability. They are concerned about Failures. Roush is the only Supercharger out there that Gives you a 3 Years 36,000 Mile Powertrain Warranty. You Are on Your Own with everybody else. I will be Getting an 07 GT/CS with a Stick Mainly because I want a Warranty and a Blower. The Roush Kit is not Inexpensive and I am Sure Having the Coverage is Part of it.

Roush Does Not Have a Program for the Automatic. Believe me. I ask everytime I order Something. The Supercharger has to be Emissions Certified Also.

Well then, I guess it's out of the question. They probably won't sell to many of them, I'd rather shell out the extra cash for the more efficent Saleen.

and there are a lot of performance guys out there looking for a Blower for the GT with auto. I'd worry more about the reliability of the motors before the trannies at higher power levels.

EDIT
Scratch that - just read about Saleen's version of "ADM". I think I'll be sitting tight for some time to come.

A kick in the ding-ding, and no mistake! However, I think the Saleen is almost $1K CHEAPER than the Roush, so perhaps it's just meant to be.

Another possibility you may consider, if you are going to wait another month or so, is the one by whipple. Their page is showing that they are planning on starting delivery first of february and that it will be available for both manual and automatic transmissions.

Should have gone for the Saleen SC. Its soooo sweet - check out the write up in Mustangs & Fast Fords Feb 2006 issue. Built a short block from a 2003 or 04 Cobra - add forged rods, pistons and crank - beef up your current 3V heads (flow better than 4V) - beef up rear end, add single driveshaft +loop - and slap in a bullitt proof T56 or C4 - smaller pulley for the SC. Lets not forget a nice set of 4:10 gears !
