I wouldn't waste my money on this mod unless I was going to run slicks or drag radials. No need with street tires, heating them up more than rolling them over a few times is useless. $300.00 plus install seems like a lot to do a smooth looking burnout without the drivetrain/brake wear as with powerbraking in a stick car. If you are going to compete in a bracket class or a factory stock NMRA class then this is probably a good buy from PHP. B)

300 bucks. Now that is a hit. I will do it but will purchase parts elsewhere for a lot less. Notice the lines are not even prebent. Check out the photo on hotrod.com and you will see what I mean. I plan to use the overdrive switch with a relay for this line lock as its in the right location. Wheels will stay locked as long as you hold it in. Perfect !! I was going to use it to turn the nitrous on. OK I'll use it for both with a three way switch in the line.

After seeing 2 Solenoids in the PHP kit, I'm not sure how the
Hurst kit
&
T-Handle will hold up...

BTW... Any comments/advice on slicks... Have an account w/ Mickey Thompson & Goodyear?

I saw this Hurst kit also but it liiks like a plumbing nightmare where the Pauls deal was super easy. I would pay 200 if the steel tubings were prebent because they are a b---h amd I do not want to build the tools to do the small radia.

Thanks for your info.
Any prebent tubing kits out there? or is it better to outsource a shop to do it?
