Removing catalytic converter

I have a cold air intake and magnaflow mufflers,so i removed the catts and im not using the back two sensors,so without a tune should I cee any performance gain?

Also got a engine light and got O2 lean code,so with a tune I should get that working right?

And if I would get a custom tune, what difference would I cee in hp gain if compared to longtubes with off road setup ?

If you get a tuner, then you can have the O2 sensors turned off. You are in Tx so this will keep you from passing inspection.

Do you have a tuner? Or do you have a stock tune? If you don't have a tuner get one ASAP, well worth the money!

Fake cats and muffler are not what they look at. They will plug in to your OBDII port and read the codes. If you have a code set for emissions you will not pass. You can install a tune that turns off the catalyst monitors and that will get rid of your MIL.

Now, IN TEXAS, I have passed before with my Catalyst at not ready. You can pass with one of your emissions components at not ready but only one. More than one and you will fail. I had it inspected once and failed after flashing back to a stock tune because catalyst and evap were both reporting not ready. I drove it around some and came back and got it reinspected and passed. My evap had come come up but my catalyst still read not ready.

You will see a HP difference with longtubes and a o/r mid pipe...You do need a custom tune to turn off the rear O2 sensors and that should resolve the CEL. I live in GA with no emissions so I'm not going to jump in that argument...lol
