Roush M90 Tuner

Anyone have their Roush M90 tune modified and improved? If so, by whom? What route did you take? CAI, pulley swap etc?

Just installing on my 05 GT... waiting on my PCM to be returned by Roush.

Certain that I will be "wanting more" than what the Roush tune will offer.

Input and knowledge appreciated.....

You should do a search over at "fnsweet", a lot of Roush M90 knowledge over there. I just have a M90 and a Roush CAI right now and I still want more..

I have been beating up that site recently. A lot of the postings are many months old, does not seem to be much recent traffic.

I was lucky enough to be able to contact a member of that site to purchase an Anderson Ford Powerpipe Kit, for short money.

Not much in the way of PCM tuning upgrades though...

Call and talk to Jim Jr.

I have the M90, with their Stage 4 upgrade of pulley, tune, CAI, etc. My car put down 420 HP to the wheels on a Dynojet dyno in June, after I did the install.

JDM is one of the best and most experienced Mustang tuners. Jim Jr. is always there to talk and answer questions...just a phone call away. His father Jim Sr. does all the tuning.

Here is an article featuring Jim Sr. and tells about his work, business and relationship with Ford Motor Co.....read it before calling JDM.

Here is a recent one for JDM. http://www.fnsweet.com/forums/05-09-...ered-bang.html
There are many good reviews for the VMP 500, from vmptuning, as well. Around 425 rwhp seems to be the norm with either VMP or JDM.

Install completed.... incredible power increase. Using the Roush upgraded tune for now, with the Anderson Ford Power Pipe kit. Added 3.55 gears, new strust and shocks (08 Bullits), new sway bar end links, stainless brake hoses, rotorpros rotors, powder coated calipers etc...

It is like driving a brand new car!

Thank you to all who have given tidbits and opinions.

I installed the roush CAI but opted to use Stage 3 performance sports tune. The Roush tunes are mild.
