thump_rrr, we know that higher octain will produce better results when the tune is compensating for it (you were running a stock tune, then a 93 tune) but the question is will there be any difference if you are running a stock tune, then run say 93 octain fuel with no tune adjustments.

That's what I was actually pointing out. I ran 16/100ths slower with 94 in the tank on the stock tune than I did with 87 and the stock tune.
The D/a was within 200' of each other which would not even account for 2/100ths of a second difference.
My best run 100% stock was 13.651 @ 103.2 using 87 octane
Stock intake and stock tune 2.094 ft. 13.757 @ 102.630 mph. on 94 octane
