Quick Q: Will this spring compressor work on our springs?

Just be consciencious of how you've got it set up. I've seen folks go a little overboard tightening down the u-bolts to the point that they break when they're cranking down on the spring. They're only there as a safety measure, so keep tabs of the tension on them. Also make sure that they get them as evenly spaced as possible around the spring or they'll try to "walk" on you.

I got mine at harborfreight.com. Search for item number 3980-6VGA. Worked well for me and cost less than what you are looking at.

I have had a set like that for 30 years. Works great. Keep the threads clean and lubricated. Keep the pullers 180 degrees apart. Tighten each side down a little at a time to keep the load balanced.

yes they will work fine. i have a set of my own as well. just keep the loa balanced, count the number of turns on each side.
