My only complaint, at least from your pics is the way the tips flare out towards the end. IMO they should have made them longer, kind of like the SLP Loudmouth.

I've got a similar setup, I've got 'resinators' midway down the line, then straight pipes out the back. It's got quite a low growl, different sounding than most other mustangs I have heard, but still no closer to the classic sound. I guess you just can't get that sound out of these new motors :-\

I had the frpp stingers (aka borlas), frpp GTA's(still have them, hanger broke so I thought I'd try something different) and now pypes mid mufflers. The GTA's have no drone, atleast none that is noticeable from the drivers seat. The stingers had drone that could split a melon, that's why I sold them. The pypes have drone at 1800-2000rpms, but it's no where near as bad as the stingers and for some odd reason it's more noticeable in lower gears. The pypes sound great at WOT with the windows down, i'll have to get a clip of that with the camera on the dash.

Here's a clip at WOT with the GTA's, 3rd-4th gears. windows up.

The Pypes Violators use the same type of tips. They fill out the rear cut-outs nicely when properly aligned. The Violators drone at 1600-2000 RPM and its noticeable in almost all the gears. The coolest part is when you let the car decelerate in 5th gear from 70 mph down. As it reaches the drone RPM range, it will actually gurgle. I bet the Pypes Mid-muffler system does the same thing.

In any case, I'm sort of glad I went with the Violators instead of the Stingers after reading about all the drone complaints. The Violators have about as much drone as I'd like.

Hey Embalmer, it looks like you've got a differential leak there. Is that the cover leaking?

I finally got around to recording the exhaust. The camera was probably a little too close to the car because the sound is a little distorted.

Yes, I did notice the bottom of the differential was moist. I'll have to let my dealership guys know and see what they think.

I was interested in this system, hoping it would sound more like the older cars. I don't think it sounds much different than my MAC prochambers though.

How would you rate the volume of each system on a scale of 1-10 with Stock being a 5?

in terms of loudness the gta's are a 6.5, the pypes mid mufflers are about an 8 and the frpp stingers are a 10, maybe 9.5.

As far as drone on a scale from 1-10, the gta's and the stockers are 0. the pypes is really odd because the drone in 5th gear at 2k is almost a 0, i'm not even sure it drones in that situation. In 1st, 2nd, 3rd it would be a 4. The stingers are a 10 for drone. the pypes have as much drone as I can handle.
