Prothane Motor Mounts??
I am thinking about getting some Prothane Motor Mounts. I have Long Tube Headers already, wondering, is that going to make the install any more difficult or not? Also, I am debating on getting the JDM or Reg Prothane. Reason is, I am going to have to tighten my header bolts eventually, and want to know which one would make that process easier. Thanks in advance for any info...

I have read somewhere, when someone was swapping there Motor Mounts for Prothane's, They decided to just cut the Factory Stud in the middle of the Mount. I am trying to figure out where exactly they cut the Stud. If you cut it close to the aluminum support bracket, your still going to have to lift the motor a good bit to get it over the rest of the stud, aren't you?
I would like to cut the stud, just not sure where to chop it at, any info helps.. Thanks

I wouldn't waste my time cutting them. You should be able to lift the engine enough to get them out. I had mine out without to much of a hassle. Just make sure to remove your strut support bar if you have one

Well guys, I guess it just looked intimidating. . After not being able to find anything to cut the studs with, I started the normal route. And 2 hours later, its done... Couple things ive noticed so far, Steering is a little tighter and shifting is smoother... Overall, I like it so far...
